Dust Prevention
This Bosch tool has a built in microfilter system that traps particles as small as 1/2 micron in diameter. Complementing this feature, there is also an anti-spillback canister to minimize dust spillback into the sander. The compact dust canister will simply twist off, making the dust level visible and incredibly easy to detach when necessary. The sander is compatible with standard 1-1/4-inch and 1-1/2-inch vacuum hoses or any Bosch vacuum cleaner hose.

This orbit sander features Bosch’s signature HookTight hook-and-loop disc attachment. This attachment has over 35,000 long-life hooks that will ensure firm grip of the disc during use. Additionally, the microcellular backing pad is pliable to ensure a smooth, fine finish on both flat and contoured surfaces alike. There is also an integral pad dampening braking system in place to prevent swirl marks. This orbit sander delivers well-blended, ultra-smooth finish, fast removal rates, and a variable-speed dial, making it perfect for any professional. With a 120-volt capacity, amperage up to 2.2, and the variable-speed control, you will be able to find the idyllic speed for each individual task you perform. In addition, this drill has a variable speed between 7,500 and 12,000 OPM with a single speed of 12,000 OPM. The orbit diameter is 3/32 of an inch and weighs in at 3.5 pounds. It is 9-inches in length, can collect up to 84 percent of dust efficiently, and holds standard 8-hole 5-inch hook-and-loop discs.
