Product Description
Frigimat® Dry Ice Makers employ the Joule-Thompson effect to produce dry ice on demand. This model will produce a solid, 454 gm (16oz) block of dry ice in one to two minutes, and the block can be removed in just 30 seconds. A brass relief valve safely vents excess gas. Each 50 lb. cylinder of liquid CO2 equipped with a dip tube will make 9-8 blocks of compact, long lasting dry ice, each measuring 3 3/8 x 43/8" (8.5 x 11cm). Unit is made of durable, epoxy-coated steel with an aluminum ice chamber and brass valves and includes a 5' 9" (1.8m) nickel-plated copper connecting tube with standard CGA 320 thread couplings for easy attachment to a liquid CO2 tank. Unit dimensions are 12 x 6 1/2 x 5"H (30 x 17 x 13cm) with a shipping weight of 12 lbs (5.5kg) Models with tank fittings for US and European markets are also available.
