The American Educational Products Oceanic marine system has a 55-gallon capacity, a coated steel frame, double-glass walls, a self-contained saltwater operation system with circulation, aeration, filtration, and heating components, a hydrometer/thermometer, and additional supplies. This aquarium has a coated steel frame to protect against deterioration, and to provide a positive wall between the metal and the saltwater. Thermal-insulating, double-wall glass provides thermal insulation and enhances view-ability. Mechanical equipment is housed within the unit for safety, and is able to be accessed and cleaned. The Oceanic comes with a glass cover, marine salts, filter media, six filter bags, a hydrometer/thermometer, a power drain hose, and a 41-page Marine Aquarium Lab Manual.
