The American Educational 7-301-1 bottle cloud apparatus set is used for study of the relationship between temperature and pressure. The set depicts a cloud formation in the chamber when pressure is reduced for detailed examination, and includes a thermometer for measuring temperature change when pressure is introduced. The unit has upright steel rods and a crosspiece to hold the stopper in place when the chamber is pressurized for safe operation, and is mounted on an acrylic base for display. Acrylic is lightweight, and resists shattering, impact, and most non-abrasive cleaners including ammonia and strong detergents. The 7-301-1 measures 6 x 4 x 8-1/4 inches (L x W x H). (L is the horizontal distance from left to right; W is the horizontal distance from front to back; H is the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point.) Science education products are commonly used as educational aids in scientific classrooms and office settings.
