Product Description

The Adam Equipment AE402 weight indicator for wash-down applications has a grade 304 stainless steel housing and wall-mount bracket for use with one to four load cell platforms when weighing outdoors, on a loading dock, in a warehouse, or in other industrial buildings. The sealed indicator and keypad allow the AE402 to be used in wash-down applications, and the unit is rated to IP65 level of protection against dust and water. The rechargeable battery offers up to 90 hours of operation on a single charge, or can be used with the included AC adapter. A green backlit 6-digit liquid crystal display with a character height of 40 mm shows results in six weighting units: kilograms, grams, pounds, ounces, pound-ounces, and Newtons, with check-weighing LEDs showing acceptable weight limits. Indicator has an RS-232 bi-directional interface for communicating with a PC or printer. Useful functions of this indicator include external calibration, capacity tracker, hold measurement, and auto-sleep or power down to save battery life. Applications include weighing, parts counting, dynamic weighing (as when weighing animals), and percentage weighing.

Conventional balances are commonly used in offices, the jewelry industry, and in kitchens, and display results digitally, but are less precise and accurate than analytical balances.
