3M™ Wire Pulling Lubricant Gel WL is a translucent white polymer gel that is applied to wires or cables to enable a worker to pull the wires or cables smoothly through a wireway or conduit, with a minimum level of tension. A low coefficient of friction makes pulling easier and safer with less chance for cable jacket damage from forceful pulling. The thick gel may be applied quickly without running or dripping, saving you from messy cleanups. The colorless formula doesn’t stain wire or cable jackets. The gel is suitable for pulling a wide variety of cable types, such as power, control, instrumentation, and communication cables, including coaxial and fiber optic cables. The lubricant is compatible with most common types of cable jacket materials. Broad compatibility with a wide range of cable types and jacket materials virtually eliminates the need to carry several lubricants. Low solids content means less conduit blocking if additional pulls are required. This gel is UL listed and CSA certified.

3M™ Wire Pulling Lubricant Gel is temperature stable, enduring both freezing and high temperatures in storage without phase separation. The temperature use range is between 20° to 110°F (-7° to 43°C). Low solids content of <3.5% allows for multiple applications without adverse conduit blocking effects. Contains no wax, grease or silicone.

Product Description

This is a water-soluble, translucent white gel that is easy to handle and apply to wire and cable without runs or drips. The lubricant produces a low coefficient of friction that lessens the chance of wire damage from high pulling forces. Case is 12 containers weighing 28 lbs total.
