3M™ Silicone Spray - Low VOC 60% is a fast-drying, long-lasting industrial lubricant. It protects and preserves rubber, plastic, and metal; lubricating moving parts, eliminating squeaks caused by friction, preventing sticking and freezing, and protecting against rust. It also helps prevent build up of glues, wax, inks, and paints. Fast drying, long lasting, and packaged in a convenient aerosol can, the silicone lubricant is used in furniture, woodworking, marine, acoustics, and construction industries.
The first aerosol adhesive, manufactured by 3M Company in 1964, followed by spray lubricants and adhesive removers. Today, 3M addresses environmental and health concerns with a line of low-emission products that reduce VOCs while providing equal or enhanced performance than original versions. The entire 3M low-VOC line meets California Air Resources Board (CARB), Ozone Transport Commission (OTC), and Lake Michigan Air District Consortium (LADCO) VOC requirements, is GREENGUARD Children & Schools CertifiedSM, and helps contribute to LEED® credits.
