The 3B Scientific T21023 is a botany model for display of the chamomile plant (Matricaria chamomilla, Asteraceae family) maturation process from immature inner flower to mature stamen. T21023 dissembles into two halves for easy demonstration, and has an enlarged flower head (10 times actual size) and tubular fertile flower (70 times actual size) for detailed study. The model’s tubular florets mature in sequence in a spiral configuration from the outside to the center of the flower, demonstrating the Fibonacci sequence in nature. The T21023 is made of durable plastic. Anatomical models are typically used as educational aids in medical and scientific classroom and office settings.
The model measures 24.0 x 19.0 x 28.0cm/9.4 x 7.5 x 11.0 inches (H x W x D), and weighs 0.7kg (1.54lb). (H is the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point; W is the horizontal distance from left to right; D is the horizontal distance from front to back.)
